I am Abigail Olsen. I truly appreciate the family friendly atmosphere at A Step Above and the positive work environment that our Director works hard to create. I am excited to share my love of dance with eager students of all ages!

Abigail's Dance Bio
Abigail Olsen began her ballet training in her hometown of Lynchburg, Virginia, studying for ten years under the direction of Colin and Sylvia Worth. While at the Fine Arts Center, Mrs. Olsen performed in multiple productions as a member of the Lynchburg Regional Ballet Theatre, including numerous seasons of The Nutcracker, as well as Coppelia, Cinderella, The Tales of Beatrix Potter, and selections from Swan Lake. After graduating from high school in 2001, she continued her dance training at Belhaven College, a liberal arts school located in Jackson, Mississippi. While at Belhaven, she performed in both faculty and student choreographed works.

Mrs. Olsen has been teaching and choreographing since 2006 including Ballet, Tap and Modern.
