I'm Hailey Schiedermayer and I look forward to continuing to teach at A Step Above because I love to see the growth in our students. The growth in not only their dance abilities, but also their confidence and self-esteem bring me so much joy!

Hailey's Dance Bio
Hailey spent 10 years as both a recreational and competitive dancer. She began by joining her school's dance team and then joined Footworks Dance Company's competition team in Kimberly, WI. She has studied ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern, hip-hop, and musical theater.
Hailey also has 10 years of teaching experience. Her previous teaching experience includes being both the assistant and head coach for middle school dance teams and an assistant teacher at Footworks Dance Company. While attending UW-Madison, Hailey continued her passion for dance by joining a student organization called Optima Dance and choreographing dances to be performed at a showcase each semester.
Hailey holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from UW-Madison and a Master's degree in Educational Psychology from Alverno College. In addition to teaching at A Step Above, Hailey is a School Psychologist. She believes dance classes are not only a place to gain strength, flexibility, and coordination, but also to increase one's confidence, self-esteem, and express creativity. She strives for a positive and inclusive environment for students to feel welcome in. Hailey is very excited to be part of the A Step Above team!
