I'm Bailee Mergen and I am very excited to teach at ASA because dance has always been a big part of my life, which I enjoy sharing that with others. I also love to help people improve and celebrate growth!

Bailee's Dance Bio
Hello, I'm Bailee! I have danced since I was 3 and competed for 10 years at a dance studio in Muscatine, IA. Throughout high school, I did show choir and the dance team, both of which gave me opportunities to compete, choreograph, and lead others.

I recently graduated from UW-Platteville where I earned a Bachelors in Civil Engineering and a minor in social and environmental justice. I also mentored women in STEM on campus while I was an upperclassman, which allowed me to help students with the academic and social aspects of college. I enjoyed being able to work with a program that I used to be mentored in.
Leading up to my senior year I realized that I missed being in the studio and that I wanted to support dancers in the same way that I had been supported. I assisted at a studio in Platteville where I was able to get back into the sport, learn new teaching styles, and solidify my love for teaching!

I hope to help dancers grow their confidence and skills by providing a supportive environment. I am very excited to join A Step Above and look forward to working with you!
